C4-02
The C4-02 TCD08ZA gas-liquid separator is a critical safety protection component installed on the suction pipeline before the compressor of new energy electric bus air conditioning systems. During low-temperature heating or unstable load operation, unevaporated liquid refrigerant will flow back along the suction pipe. Direct liquid entering the compressor will cause liquid slugging, cylinder abrasion and permanent burnout of electric scroll compressors for EV buses. This separator solves this core failure risk via built-in multi-stage baffling separation structure.
Inside the vertical black thickened shell, layered diversion baffles slow down mixed refrigerant flow. Heavy liquid refrigerant sinks and is stored at the bottom cavity, while dry gaseous refrigerant flows upward into the compressor suction port. It also contains built-in oil return structure to send lubricating oil back to compressor, maintain normal lubrication circulation of the whole refrigeration system.
