D2-09 Prestolite Alternator Rotor (New Version) 150A Fit 3110/3238 Bus Generator

The D2-09 new version Prestolite alternator rotor is the core rotating power generation component for Prestolite 3110/3238 150A heavy-duty bus generators. Installed inside the alternator stator cavity, the excitation winding generates a strong rotating magnetic field after being energized through the slip ring and carbon brushes, thereby inducing electric current in the stator winding to supply stable power for the bus air conditioning system and all onboard electrical equipment.

This new upgraded rotor adopts optimized claw-pole magnetic circuit structure and high-purity copper enameled wire winding, with higher power generation efficiency and lower heat generation than the old version. The whole rotor is strictly calibrated by dynamic balance process to ensure smooth operation at high engine speed, reduce bearing wear and generator vibration noise. The high-hardness copper slip ring has low abrasion rate and long service life, matching perfectly with Prestolite carbon brush assemblies.
