D2-13 Prestolite Alternator Diode 150A for Bus Generator Silicon Rectifier Board

The D2-13 Prestolite 150A stud rectifier diode is the basic power electronic component on Prestolite bus alternator silicon rectifier boards. Multiple diodes are combined to form three-phase rectifier circuit. The diode only allows current to flow in one direction, converting alternating current generated by alternator stator into stable direct current to supply power for bus air conditioning compressors and all onboard electrical equipment.

When single diode on rectifier board breaks down, users only need to replace the damaged diode instead of the whole silicon board. Adopting metal threaded stud structure for quick press-fit installation, the metal shell provides excellent heat dissipation. High-power silicon chip can withstand continuous 150A large current output, avoid thermal breakdown under long-time full-load cooling operation in high-temperature engine compartment.
